He could see light glowing on the horizon. How long had he been walking towards it?
He could see light glowing on the horizon. How long had he been walking towards it?
The stars were beautiful, they shone so brightly. He had never seen them with such clarity.
With a cry, the little girl swiftly hides behind her mother, only one of her wide eyes and a bit of ruffled bangs peeking from behind the mortified woman.
Trying not to panic, he counted silently in his mind.
“–How does it feel?”
The stone giant slowly turned its head and stared silently at him. “–What does what feel?”
The sound was soft and soothing in her ears, it almost made her wish she could sleep in a little while.
The crystal was evidently flawed.
The tide crashed against the jagged edges of the rock, showering him in a fine, salty mist.
He remembered that day so clearly.
